ye are bought with a price: A blank screen. As I sit at my computer desk, that is what I find myself staring at...a blank screen. At the present time, it is void of any expression or purpose. It lies empty and dormant, unused in any way. It is, well, blank. Some might look at this blank screen and say with a sigh, "It's worthless." But not me. I see something more than a object void of any meaning. I see a wonderful, powerful instrument that can be used to encourage the downtrodden, console the weak-hearted and challenge the able-bodied. There is an opportunity here to equip, excite and edify. Within this blank screen lies a potential to accomplish great things and be used in mighty ways. Oh, yes, my friend, there is something more to this thing. Dormant? Yes, but waiting to erupt like a volcano, lighting fires in the hearts of people. Empty? Of course, but anxious to be filled with something of value and usefulness. Unused? Not anymore...it's purpose is already taking shape. No, my friend, it's not worthless. It has infinite worth. It has unlimited potential. It has lofty possibilities...far-reaching and unending. This blank screen has the ability to impact people and touch hearts in a life-changing way. You see, in the right hands, anything can be accomplished. Christian, I'm here to tell you that what I see in this blank screen, God sees in you this morning. The day sits before you having not yet been used. It is blank, nothing has been recorded on its pages. Don't ever let anyone tell you that your life is worthless... ...for God sees infinite worth in YOU. He sees a wonderful, powerful instrument that can be used to encourage the downtrodden, console the weak-hearted and challenge the able-bodied. You have an unlimited potential, and can be used to accomplish great things and in mighty ways. That's right...you can touch a heart today and change a life forever. You see, in the right hands, God's hands, anything can be accomplished with your life. Why not erupt today, lighting fires in those around you? Why not allow God to use you to impact others for His Kingdom? The day is about to begin. You might say the "screen is blank," so to speak. But, not for long. How will you use what the Lord has given you today... What will be on your screen at day's end?Have a "Wonderful DAY in Christ," Jimmy D. Brown \o/ Praise Jesus! |
