GOT WISDOM?

"For the LORD giveth wisdom:  out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding." - Proverbs 2:6

If you have been receiving my devotionals for an extended period of time, then you know that sometimes on Fridays I send out a few riddles instead of the regular devotional.  I do this to kind of mix things up a bit and challenge us all to use our minds! :-)

Now, the last time I sent out riddles (which was several months ago) my good friend Brad told me I was getting too soft and they were too easy.  I hope today's challenge you a bit more. :-)

If you are stumped and would like to know the answers, then send me an email at riddles@living4Jesus.com and I'll forward you the answers immediately.  If you know the answers, drop me a line at the same address and let me know, as well.  Please use riddles@Living4Jesus.com and not my regular email address.

Enjoy!

RIDDLE #1:  A young boy was reading a book.  Suddenly his shadow came to life, picked up a knife and cornered the boy, ready to do harm to him.  How did the young boy escape?

RIDDLE #2:  A man is in a room and the door is locked so he can't get out. He has with him a piano, a calander, and a bed. How does he eat, drink and get out?

RIDDLE #3:  What gets wetter as it dries?

RIDDLE #4:  If a guy and his horse road into town on friday and stayed for 3 days and road out on friday, how is that possible?

And I'll close with an easy one...

RIDDLE #5:  Say your driving a bus. You drop 2 people off in Chicago, 1 person off in Baltimore, 3 people off in Providence, 6 people off in Cape Cod, 7 people off in Maine, 5 people off in Johnston, and 12 people off in Connecticut. What's the bus drivers name?

Regular devotionals will resume on Monday.

Have a "Wonderful DAY in Christ,"
