"See then that ye walk circumspectly,
not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time,
because the days are evil." - Ephesians 5:15-16

"Tomorrow is a perfect day to do anything at all."
I heard the voice of satan as he began to call. 

"Don't share the gospel now, it can surely wait."
"Look on your calendar, tomorrow is a better date." 

"Encourage the downtrodden? No, certainly not today."
"There are too many other things to do in your way." 

"Pause to pray to God, or read the Bible in a quiet time?"
"Tomorrow is a perfect day..." he continued to remind. 

"There is nothing so important," he prompted with a smile.
"That it can't be put off, for just a little while." 

"Don't bother living for Jesus, there will be time for this."
"Tomorrow is a perfect day..." he led me amiss. 

"Yes, you should stop that pet sin, this much is true."
"Tomorrow is a perfect day" he said afresh and anew. 

"Whatever God is telling you, surely He'll understand,"
"If you take an extra day to obey His command." 

"Oh, I know that He is speaking even now to your heart,"
"But tomorrow is a perfect day for you to get a start." 

Soon I found myself doing just what I heard satan say,
As I put off what God wanted me to do today. 

It hit me hard one morning when I realized how dumb,
That I had been...tomorrow doesn't ever come! 

So I finally figured it out and I began to obey
And I realized the perfect time to begin is today. 

And now I pass this message on, I hope you can see.
Don't wait until tomorrow, this is the Lord's plea. 

Do all the things He instructs you, do this alway
And learn this important truth, NOW is the perfect day.
