January 23,
2002 -- Issue #518 "I
will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart;" Today's
devotional isn't really a devotional.
It's more of a "let Jimmy just ramble for a
minute and praise the Lord!" Is that ok
with you? :o) A couple of
weeks ago my wife went in for a checkup and had some tests
ran.
No big deal.
We were
caught a bit by surprise when, a few days later, we received
a phone call from the clinic.
The test showed something that the doctor wanted to
test further.
We had to setup a new test in order to find out
exactly what the problem was. We prayed
about it and immediately felt a peace from the Lord.
(You know the kind -- the kind that only He can
give).
This morning was the followup test. The results
were seen immediately upon the end of the test. Paula was
given a complete bill of health.
Whether the original tests were inaccurate or God
healed her of the problem, I don't know.
I don't know she is healthy and for that I praise Him
regardless of how it came to be.
Praise the Lord! So, today I
just want to give Him praise and honor.
I just want to thank Him for His continued grace and
blessings upon our lives.
He is sooooo good to us! What do you
have to thank God for today?
Healing?
Good results?
Family and friends?
Financial blessings?
All of the above? There is so
much to thank Him for.
So, let's do that today. "I
will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart!" Jimmy D. Brown \o/ Praise Jesus! |
