"I am crucified with Christ:  nevertheless I live;
yet not I, but Christ liveth in me."  - Galatians 2:20a

He took the emptiness and He said, "Let there be light."
And instantly there became a distinction between day and night. 

He took the dirt upon the ground because He had a plan,
God breathed the breathe of life and He created man. 

He took the water that He had made when He started,
And the Israelites walked on dry land, the Red Sea He had parted. 

He took roaring lions and the fiery furnace too,
And He kept faithful servants alive and well that's true. 

He took a ark of wood with Noah and the animals aboard.
And started the whole world again with those faithful to the Lord. 

He took John the Baptist and he let Him understand,
That His life would be used to prepare the way for the Lamb. 

He took the bread and fishes and blessed once again,
And before that meal was through, He had fed 5,000 men. 

He took dirt and spit and touched the eyes in misery.
And the man who had been blind could now freely see. 

He took 12 ordinary men when He said "Come follow Me"
And the Gospel went into the world to all who believe. 

He took the Apostle Paul whom He called on the road,
To write most of the New Testament that His story might be told. 

He took John and placed him on an isle to write what He said.
So you and I could know for sure what is coming up ahead. 

Over and over God used the ordinary to serve Him in His way,
He blessed the world and the lives of others, He's doing it today. 

Miracles happen and God is glorified through the land,
When something is placed in the Lord's mighty hand. 

So, surrender your all to Him, my friend, let's see what He will do.
When you give your life to Him, what will He do through YOU?
