everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in It was one of those kinds of days. You know what I mean? There were Christmas shoppers everywhere! They bumped me when they walked by. They ran their buggies in front of me down the aisle. The broke in line at the cashier. It got worse when my wife and I got into our car. They scrambled for our parking place almost crushing us and two bystanders! They pulled in front of us as we drove down the road towards home. And if that wasn't enough, it was pouring down raining, foggy and almost impossible to see which side of the road you were on. But, you know what? God is sooooooooo good to me! Praise God, let's just examine tonight a little bit closer, shall we? First of all, by the grace of God, the stomach virus I had is gone and I was able to go out tonight to purchase some items that we need around the house. And about those things...I had plenty of money to purchase them. Yes, there were Christmas shoppers everywhere...that reminds me it's almost CHRISTmas! Praise the Lord, my SAVIOR came to this world to redeem me! There were crazy drivers out there...but at least I have a working vehicle that allowed me to be out among them. Rain? Fog? Slick roads? Just confirms that once again God was merciful and gracious to me in keeping me safe. Wow, I had a great day! Christian, every single day it will be "one of those kinds of days" IF WE LET IT. Or, it can be a wonderful, remarkable great day if we just look at all that God has done for us. Instead of focusing on little, insignificant things, we should concentrate on the goodness of God. Life isn't always
wonderful. But, life in Christ is! |
